It was good. Youngish crowd kind of chill. Riley Green was solid, and put the women in good moods, Marcus King is one talented guy, and CS brought it home. Dude can flat out play and sing.
Drinks were priced like giraffe pussy tho.

I thought it was very well organized and put on. Sound was great, food, bathrooms, and bars were very plentiful and no lines. Plenty of police/security presence. Didn’t reek of weed.

It was well attended last night, but I heard it wasn’t the case Friday. It’s odd that they chose to do it on Halloween night.

Went last night, was just fine, had a great time and would go again if the lineup is good. I didn’t drink but I think beers were like $12-$13. Food was about what you’d expect, $12 for a slice of pizza was wild, I had a shrimp pasta salad($15) and a snow crab salad($15) both from the same food truck and thought I got my moneys worth mostly.

Traffic leaving was a bit of a mess, after sitting dead stop for ~45 minutes a traffic worker was telling cars they’d opened the rear gate. I guess none of them knew Lamar had a rear gate and so ~30 cars In front of me just made one loop and made another line for the gate they were already in line for to the front/main gate, I knew where it was and was about the 5th vehicle through. They all turned right to go sit in more traffic on 30, I turned left, hit the river road and got on i10 in Giesmar and was smooth sailing back to Lafayette.

It was a pretty well run event. Plenty of bathrooms, lots of space to get away from the crowd. Music was good. Don’t sleep on Keith Urban, that Aussie can play guitar.

I wish I could go today to see Marcus King but I’m at work.
We took the long trek to Starkville to see him a couple weeks ago at Rick's Cafe in Starkville.

If you don't know, Rick's is a small venue, though they had it packed it out. Probably 250 people there. Not a bad seat in the house. We were 2nd in line from the front (all general admission tickets except for reserved tables). I could've reached out and shook his hand.

It was an unreal show. Dude blew the doors off the place. I don't imagine he plays in venues that size much anymore.
