How to treat an internet troll? (Update st pats day)

My brother was selling some things online (I know OT poor), and a person has been trolling him acting as if they are going to come purchase the item, but keeps canceling and making excuses; he is still texting and continues to ask for a meet up. The person claims they got the number from a friend of a friend. Friend says he has no idea who it is. What do you think my brother should do in response? Is my brother getting butt raped tonight or what is this scam? The guys number is 225-304-3736 if you have it stored in your phone let me know.
TL;dr- digital Troll number listed above, is my bro getting robbed tonight?
Update: it appears this guy has been trolling others on Facebook, and continues to try to lead on sellers into meeting up without any interest in purchasing.
