there’s nothing to roast. It’s ridiculous to say otherwise.

Love in relationship will never be balanced, and you can’t love her more than she loves you. It’s the truth whether or not we want to acknowledge it.

Women don’t want to be needed more than they need their man.

When I was your age I broke it off with my girlfriend and I reacted so badly that I woke up puking every morning for two months and shat myself like a baby. True story. Absolute physical devastation. As for depression, I get "blue" as my Dear Mum says, but it never lasts more than 48 hours or so and is mild in nature.

If I could recommend any one thing it would be exercise maniacally as if you will die if you stop. Just wear yourself out during this time and that will GREATLY help you manage your emotions. Calm your mind by pushing your body. It works for me.

Good luck. I feel your pain, bro. Talk to your friends, stay positive, keep your head up.

You are generally right but that is not true this time. She broke up with me because I have been focused hard on school the past two weeks and she has been feeling bad in that time frame and hasn't been getting enough attention. Of course she also complained that I don't spend enough time doing school work

Move on, dood.

She was tired of your shite and nothing was going to make a difference.

Breathe in. Breathe out. Move own. Learn.

ETA: You need the Art of Charm podcasts more than you know. Go find them.

Especially the older episodes.

so basically what she said wasn’t true.

This isn’t news my dude. If she broke up with you and you think your life is over but she’s moving on just fine then you should reevaluate the “need balance” in that relationship

I wouldn't be depressed if that would be the case, I would be happy I got rid of her. I don't want to date a whore. She isn't like most girls you (or I) grew up with.

Breaking up is like surgery, hurts like hell for a while but your body will heal itself. You just have to ride it out

That’s what every man thinks about the woman he loves. She is not unique or special.

Yeah, right.

She’s trying to move on without hurting you more than she knows will obviously happen. Her leaving, in itself, is enough. She has either outgrown you (people’s likes/dislikes change a lot tween 15 and 21) or has a crush on someone she met at college.

I haven't read this entire thread so the advice I'm going to give has probably already been handed out. But, it cant hurt to repeat it.

Get the frick out of bed and go to class. Not only will it give you something to do to take your mind off of the ex, but there are plenty of girls in class that you could talk into having sex with you.

Since its Saturday today, get up, shower, put on some clothes and go to the bar. Get drunk and lower your standards for the next few girls. Have some unattached sex for a while with some sluts, then get back in the hunt for relationship women. Stop feeling sorry for yourself. You're letting her control your life right now. Take your own life back and stop being in your feelings man.

It’s as simple as this:
1) you think you’ll never be as happy as you were with her in your life

2) she thinks her happiness is better served without you in her life

The problem is that you’re still the guy she broke up with. You’re actually probably worse now. Your dependence on her is repulsive to her.

Your happiness can’t be found in other people. You’ll never be worth a damn to a woman until you’re happy on your own

This is ultimately why women have so much power in marriage, because the man's biggest weapon in his arsenal, the ability to walk away, is taken away. But the woman still has her most powerful weapon, her vagina, and therefore she can ration it and turn it into a transactional weapon, only allowing access to it when she is getting what she wants from the man.

I have every reason to be depressed. For some reason I haven't been depressed at all. Stay busy. Even if you don't really feel like doing it do it anyway.

Never take a woman's word at face value. Women love saying one thing, but their actions almost always say something else.

Example: Most women say they want soft, caring, affectionate, emotional men with good jobs. But then they go out and have relationships with bad boys and deadbeat losers.

I guarantee you that you "not giving her enough attention" is just a made up reason she gave you. The reason most women break up with men, and is probably the case with you, is because another guy came into the picture. It's always another guy. That's why you have to always be at the top of your game in terms of fitness and appearance. You can't get lazy or fat. That is just opening the door for Chad to come along and then its all over. Women are always on the lookout to branch swing to a better guy.

Pedestalizing. Women know when a man is pedestalizing them. It turns them off, big time.

There are no unicorns dude. When you have enough sex with different women you learn that none of them are special and they all have their downsides.

You'd be surprised at how many women are actually whores when they put on the false front of being the opposite.
