That’s the quickest way to get yourself robbed by da cultcha.

Used to have to order new checks every two years or so. Now it’s been probably five years and still going on the same checks. Even most yard guys/maids take electronic payment.

I ordered 4 boxes of checks back in 2006. It took me 11 years to use one box. I can't wait to get some sweet Auburn check in 30 years.

didn't realize people still had gas station cards. My roommate in college had one. We used to load up on beer and gas station nachos at 1am courtesy of his dad

Ha, I had a similar situation. My roommate would offer to buy gas for our friends on his dad's card and then he'd charge 75% of the value of the gas in cash. Great scheme for him, shitty for his dad.

Got behind some woman at Rouses a few weeks ago who was writing a check. It was like the entire store screeched to a halt. Everyone was just staring at her.

Were we roommates? Because I did the same

One year we ran out of money in Destin and had to buy all food and beer for the rest of the week on my Dads Chevron card

Filled up today at BP. I hadn't used this credit card in months.

No more Shell.

I just did some crazy calculations in my head. By no means are they accurate.

To the poster that said Shell doesn't give a shite about you.

I'm thinking over 40 years and +$90,000 estimated payments made, if they don't, if they are so concerned because, the problem was Memorial Day when the Post office was closed and the receivable department was more than likely closed, a worthless peon that has no discretion, called my wife and acted like an a-hole.

Instead of charging $200/month, I may go by every couple of months, get $10 worth of gas and a bottle of water.

Gas is gas, as long as BP doesn't act like an a-hole, they now have my business.

This is true. I don't disagree with this at all.

I once attended a seminar relating to consumer complaints. Can't remember the exact percentages, but the % of complaints versus the actual % of consumers that just stopped buying, was minuscule.

If you don't have a customer...

Yep. For ExxonMobil, you'd max out and get about $20 back every month. Hard to beat that for something you have to purchase. Come on over to ExxonMobil. Their Fastpass app is legit. I authorize the pump as I pull up to it.

I love how the time is bolded....like they called in the middle of the night or something.

I'm sorry they interrupted you and your wife watching reruns of Matlock on TBS.

There is nothing wrong with you taking your business elsewhere if you feel aggrieved.

But dont pretend like your measly monthly gas payments are even an afterthought to Shell
