Is there some magical way to clean the inside windshield of my vehicle?
I can get it looking clean, then the streaks and halos appear when driving at night.

Use two towels.

One to apply and another to buff.

I also use waterless wash instead of the spray foam shite.

Windex microfiber towel

Let it dry

Come back with a dry microfiber towel and scrub hard.

The dry towel "burns" the streaks off.

"Higher end" microfiber cloths work well, like the ones you find at car washes with the "free" vacuums. Also use ammonia free stuff like Invisible Glass.

I tried that. Apparently, there's too much caffeine in my urine....

I use a paper towel and wet it with isopropyl alcohol.
Wipe the inside glass.
Follow up with windex.

This is how the Mexicans did it at the last restaurant I worked at, on the plate glass windows in the dining room.

they're lint-free, cheap, and readily available

TBH I will probably switch to a microfiber cloth after reading this thread... it never occurred to me to use them for glass

Everclear and a magic eraser.

If you're REALLY anal, I wait for that to dry and then go over it with a silicon polish and microfiber.

Don't you have to use something like alcohol or vinegar to get that film off? something about off-gassing from the dashboard plastic...

Invisible Glass and use one towel to apply it and a clean one to wipe off the residue.

You don't need any cleaning liquid, just a clean, dry microfiber towel and a lot of pressure.
