You bought a Ford truck with the ruggedness of a beer can, didn't you?

What if people buy chevy and gmc because they like the truck. Commercials don't make me buy things. They typically turn me away if I don't already have a positive opinion on said product.

Almost all commercials appeal to idiots these days. I feel like we are living in the movie idiocracy when I watch cable television.

All this over a car commercial? OP must shite when infomercials come on. St.Jude must put him in the nut house.

Admit it...you like the bear commercial.

That's the one that set me off to make this thread. Has to be the most ridiculous commercial ever made if they just got random joes to participate in that and not get sued for a ridiculous sum.

Plus somehow a camera crew gets in the cage as well.

That's fine, but if you're convinced because you think you can throw 30 pound stone blocks into your car or the fact that a commercial uses emojis, then you're dumb.

It's takes millions a day to run St Jude. Being from the Memphis area, I myself donate to them. Don't mind their commercials at all.

I don't get the point of any advertising. I've never seen a commercial that made me want to buy anything.

Maybe it's because I'm on the spectrum but there's no amount of puppies you show me that will make Budweiser any less shitty of a beer.

Are most people so easily manipulated that they see a commercial and have to run out and buy that thing?

I like the new Chevy pickups. First time I saw them was the commercial with the shitty, busted Ford breaking up when they dropped a small toolbox on it.

What about all these Chevy commercials where they brag about "initial quality" awards. They're basically saying, "hey our cars don't break down in the first 90 days, after that it's a crapshoot"

I bought two, one for me and one for my wife. The commercials convinced me to do it.

I get annoyed about them bragging about winning JD Power initial quality things. Tell me what that quality is doing at 50 and 100k, and we've got a conversation

Chevy trucks sell themselves. Their commercials could be a weather update and people will still buy Silverado LTZs.
