It'd be scary as hell. But if you can still talk you'd adjust and not hang yourself in your grandmothers closet like my coward arse brother did.

There are several dozen syndromes that can result in a person becoming both blind and deaf.

This is a article about a young women that developed Usher Syndrome that will likely leave her blind and deaf by age thirty. There is a fairly large contingent of people that are both blind and deaf in Seattle because of the excellent public transportation, and the city being in general very pedestrian friendly.

Wife wouldn't look like shite and I wouldn't have to hear her bitching anymore. Could be a blessing.

Wtf, you're not paralyzed. There are resources available for blind and deaf people. If nothing else you can just dick around on the internet all day, there are tons of people that pretty much relegate their lives to that by choice and they still have all their senses.

What if you also lost your virginity at the same time, so that you associated sex with losing your senses and your life sucking?

The nuns always said I'd go blind. But they never said anything about hearing.

This might give you a better idea. I remember back in the day this bothered me. Still an awesome song

Also, think in the movie Only God forgives there is a torture scene were a guy puts out a dude's eyes and ear drums with spikes....horrible

That'd be fricking weird to be able to talk and not hear it. And no one can ever respond. I don't understand how you live. Really scary.

I'd try to write this out: please euthanize me.

There was a set of identical twins in Belgium who were born deaf. In their early 40's they discovered that they were also going blind. They decided that they would prefer euthanasia and ended their lives by lethal injection which was carried out by doctors. LINK
