I will sell you a 2016 Lexus GS 200t for 20k. It has 48k miles. One of the most reliable vehicles on the road. A couple nicks on it so you won't have to worry as much about another small mishap. Plus he'll be riding in style.

I’d think so. More reliable for sure. I think first cars should be something not too powerful, not too big, reliable and safe. Bc kids are awful drivers. A used Camry or Accord or Impala, or a V6 single cab pickup, something like that. RAV4 is great for chicks.

I had a jeep up to 115k miles on it and traded it in. Only major issues were cracked exhaust manifold and front driveshaft (due to lift,though). Traded it in last year and got $16,000 for it. 2010 Wrangler JK. I did all of my own maintenance and would have to fix a few things here and there, but overall I enjoyed it.
