Hear me out.

It is an election year. Every election year there is crazy shite going on that is used to divide the country. Both sides of the political aisle want their people to be worked up about something politically related because they will get out to vote.

So we start 2020 and in January we start hearing about this virus that was in China and by mid March the US was pretty much on lockdown, the daily reports came out showing how much more people had than the day before and how many more people died from it compared to the day before (which is still being done right?).

So it seemed as if there was this virus that started in China in late 2019, we started hearing about it in January 2020 and by March it is in the US and everything comes to a stop.

Here in Louisiana it was spreading fast in the New Orleans area and it is believed that Mardi Gras was a big reason it spread, but it seems like we have done a good job stopping the spread of it.

You look at New York City and how many people had it. Of course there is 6 million people in NYC.. But has anyone mentioned that a big reason it has hit New York as bad as it did is because of NY eve and all the people from all around the world that go there? If it was simply a population thing.. Texas is the second largest state (population) in the union and there wasn't really any huge mass breakout.

So let's say NYE played a big part in spreading it in New York City. That is December 31, January 1 which means it was here well before we were told that it was going to eventually spread to the US. Some people think it could have been here as early as November. People have said that they had something that was flu like, but turns out it wasn't the flu, etc.

So let's say it has been here since as early as November. Do you think it is due to:

A. China giving out bad information

B. Something that was used to make into a big deal in order to use for political reasons.

C. Something China gave ban information on, but once other areas of the world and the US got under control, it started to be used politically

Either way, I know some of you will blame it on one political party, but if you think one political party would use this for political gain and the other one wouldn't then you are insane. Both sides fight fire with fire.

And lets say that the federal government or people with a lot of influence is behind creating problems during election years. How can "we the people" send a message saying "okay, we will no longer buy into this bullshite every 4 years. It is to the point where anything is game and you cocksuckers are willing to hurt your own country just to either remain in power or gain power"?

FYI: I am not saying this is what happened. As I said before, I think anything is likely but I can't say anything is for sure without facts, but I could see some variation of what I mentioned being likely.

I think it’s pretty normal for people to read things they’re interested in.

D We have a weak leader who didn't take this thing seriously and it fricked him.

Not that complicated.

NYC doesn't need a big event to have spread. It has a healthy business climate and a fully loaded international route network

New Orleans has neither of those things.

Weak leader, weak person. All the suburban white women are in love with Cuomo instead of him and it bothers him sooooooooo much.

Who do you dislike more: OweO, or Trump?

Would you vote for Chris over Trump?

Because this thread really should be about shitting all over his inane ramblings.

It was faulty groupthink on a global level.

Social media played a big role.
