Would this be in the realm of possibility within the next couple of weeks?

Not sure if you're serious or if you simply don't understand what he was asking.

Yeah, how would we do this? Post the National Guard at 10s of thousands of state line crossings? What about people that live and work in different states?

What if you work across state lines? The DC area, St Louis, area, and any other major city right on the border it would be a cluster.

I don’t see the reason to stop travel by car as it would put a major barrier up for shipping and without people exposing themselves to others in public it wouldn’t do much.

I know a few people who cross state lines for work. A HS buddy of mine lives in Kentucky but works in Cincinnati.

Military domestic travel ban goes into effect Monday. I can't imagine they would also do a civilian one.

At some point, political considerations come into play.

If Trump did that, even for a day, he can kiss re-election goodbye so they would have to be stacking bodies like wood before that even became a thought.

Not a lot of reason to travel now, most things that cause people to travel are closed down

Sources have told me they are already deploying sandbags, barricades and national guard to the borders in preparation for the lock down. Only necessary travel across state lines will be allowed.

Better hit the road if you want to go, but don't plan to come back anytime soon.
