Are you actually going to be using them for rugged use? If so, don't buy those.
Altama still makes a jungle boot I think. They are not the same company as they used to be, but it would definitely be a better quality product than Rothco.
Top of the line would probably be Mcrae. They are high quality made in the USA boots.

I remember that being a big issue in the news when I was a kid, how the traditional boot was breaking down too fast and contributing to jungle rot, which led to the development of the jungle boot
