this isn't a good cop/bad cop situation

this is a "bad policy" situation caused by expansive government. government is bad, m'kay

what bad policy? This was a likely racist cop(s) bullying and stealing money from a guy.

I brought 30k with me to Laffy a few weeks back to purchase a car. Let's not act like only drug dealers carry around large amounts of cash

No one has even insinuated that. My point is that very few good things can come from it, and this thread is a perfect example. After all of the CAF cases you've read about on here, why would you do that? It is more of a headache than it is worth IMO. If the cops would have pulled you over and taken it, it would have been deplorable, but it would have highlighted the risks associated with that much cash.

this guy is such a dildo

he's the type that runs his dicksucker when the cops are in their car, and then when they approach, he does everything but give him a handy to get out of his ticket.

I'm glad they took it. Sounds like his conflicting stories indicate he was doing something. And we sure don't have any Christians named Eh Wah in my church.

He's originally from Burma oh brilliant one.

He shouldn't have acted suspiciously. If that wasn't drug money why did the police take it? I'm going to wait until I hear both sides of this story.

I am sure suspicious is a very loose term here. Maybe he was nervous that he'll have to pay for protection with church and orphanage funds? Or that he's now charged with a felony because he wouldn't waive his rights to the money?

Hey man, that cop was just trying to do everything he can to make it home alive at night to his wife and baby child. Why do you hate babies?

So it is policy that cops can claim that anyone has drugs and steal their money?

If you did nothing wrong, then you have nothing to worry about!

Yeah, not all policies are perfect. The good outweighs the bad. Oh, and 9/11.

Also the intentions are clear when there's an open discussion on additional patrols on the southbound (money) routes vs. the northbound (drugs) routes.

The policy gives the incentive for police to benefit from bad behavior. If you create a system either through business practices or legal policy that rewards people for bad behavior then there will be a trend towards bad behavior every time given a large enough group of people. It's human nature.

Receipt of transaction, with Teller and Bank Managers signature. Also statements of his account, so u could see exactly where the money came from and was coming from.

Dude, he did shite beyond what he needed, that bosshog incident scared the shite out of him. It was only 13K(alot to us non ballers), but what if it had been 30K? 40K?

Well, anytime you pull our more than $10,000 per day in cash, the bank is required to fill out a Currency Transaction Report. It's sent to the feds and the customer gets a copy.

Naw, they probably can train them to find large lumps of cash, so they aren't wasting their time on the poors. Well, let me rephrase that. They won't be wasting their time on the poors to search their car for $10,000 or more.

One of these days, these cops are going to get shot for stealing someone's livelihood.

U do realize, that the cops, individually get none of that cash, right?

Nope. Nah ah. Never. Never once and under no circumstance does arresting/seizing LEO receive a single red penny.

The cash count down at the station always matches the amount in guy had in his pocket/vehicle 100% of the time, all day long, like clock work.

I mean, come on guys. We're talking about honest hardworking professionals here.

I'm paranoid about my tail lights and headlights as well. I'm not doing anything wrong, but I'd like to keep my interactions with officers at a minimum, and a tail light is just an invitation to bad shite happening. I was being facetious in my original post, but in all seriousness, it is the way many bad traffic stops begin, everything from DUIs to CAF cases.
