My parents were 20 and 22 when they had me, I was an accident. They are still together and gave myself sister and me a great childhood.
It was great having young parents but more so it was awesome having young grandparents (in their 40s when I was born). I even knew all my great grandparents, except 2, and even knew one great great grandparent.

Dad 22, Mom 21. Childhood was great, no complaints.
Wife and I had our first at 23, oldest is 1 semester away from graduating college and youngest is 3.5 semesters away. Most of my similar aged friends' children are in elementary or jr high. It was a little tough early on but now we're living the life while their still raising young ones.

Yeah, I can see this. All of us that are parents know it can be exhausting... And not just physically. Having the energy to be present in their lives , while working, having some down time with your friends... Tough.

Dad was 25, Mother was 22. I was the firstborn. The good side of that was they had a lot of energy when I was growing up. The downside is they were a couple of kids themselves and had to figure it out as they went along. They were a lot more laid back with my siblings.
My late SO was the baby of the family and was born when her parents were in their late thirties. She spent a good part of her adulthood being their caregiver and they died when her son was young so he didn't get to spend much time with them.
