38, and it depends on the time of year. I drop off kids at school so it’s usually around 8 most of the year. Can’t drop them off before 7:20 or so. During the summer and other breaks in school I get here around 7:45.

Having meetings before 9 am is brutal.

Oh, 39, and I get to work at 715 am. Earliest I can drop off the kids at the sitter is 630 am (they catch the school bus from there) and it's a 45 min commute.

Yeah it is. We have a rule here for no Friday afternoon meetings. But we have some people that will schedule 8 AM meetings. I’ve got one tomorrow. It’s just a conference call but no one wants to start the day in a meeting.

I am 43. I contract maintenance work to the food industry. I am at work at 4:00 am most days and even go in at 3:00 am on Saturdays unless it's football season.

Most days I work from home. Those days I drop my kid off at daycare, go home, go for a walk, do some stretching, then log in around 8:45-9am. It's a nice routine that gets me focused and ready to work. I often use the walk to think about how I'm going to tackle my day.

Days I have to drive into the office, ~30min commute, I drop my kid off and go straight to the office. 8:30.

If you think you're any more productive or better than me because you are dumb enough to get to work at 6:30, you're wrong. I manage my time tightly from 9-11:30 and then 1-4 so I can get a frick ton of work done and then be done once my wife and son come home. I don't need to work 10 hours to be/feel productive. And because I've proven myself and my work gets done, nobody gives a shite

To answer OP's question, my office is on "flex time" so as long as I work 40 hours a week they do not care as long as we are here for "core time" which is 0900-1500. Some days I am here at 0630 and leave at 1500 and some days I am here at 0900 and leave 1800.
