How Often Does Someone In Your Household Buy Something That Never Gets Used?

Last name I came across a converter box, to convert your tv into a smart TV, I bought several years ago. I hooked it up once, played around with it for a little while and I unhooked it for some reason, put it back in the box for the time being and.. Well, it has been in the back of a shelf, just taking up space since...

the wife will $100 worth of perishable fruits and vegetables at the grocery all at one time, only to have to throw away 75% of it after it rots.

Yeah, but I needed a converted for people to make me smarter to figure out how to use it.
No seriously, it wasn't anything difficult to figure out. The reason I really bought it was to use on the tv in the bedroom, which was getting replaced so I put that TV somewhere else (it would have cable on it, I just use it to watch games, on network stations, when I am in that area). And it was never a "pressing issue" to hook up the converter and I just kind of forgot about it.
No seriously, it wasn't anything difficult to figure out. It would make you throw up how much stuff I have like this. Clothes that never get worn, tools that I buy for one project, car detail supplies I use once, etc etc

My wife
She has about 10 pairs of shoes that have never been worn. Countless clothes from high end boutiques that rarely get worn. A couple furs that i bought for her over the years that have been worn once if any. A new apple desktop, desk and bookcase in the closet that never gets used. I give up. Thousands of dollars worth of stuff that rarely or never gets used.

I just googled "smart tv converter" and quickly grabbed the link of the first thing that came up.
If you do not have a smart tv, it allows you to do the things you are able to do on a smart tv. Call it what you want.
