So if it rains for 20 minutes every day I’ll have healthy grass but if I water for 20 minutes every day I’ll have weak grass?

Never. Blows my mind how many people water their yards in the south. They’re just asking for shallow roots and diseases. We live in a subtropical climate. Irrigating your yard might make sense like twice a year.

You’d be better off throwing that money into cleaning up weeds and fertility maintenance.

I can honestly say that i have never actually watered my grass.
