The overarching argument of these articles was the same: Nashville is cool now.

Yeah. Real intellectual conclusion she's reaching there.

EDIT - I will say that Nashville has to be the most ridiculous city I've ever heard of when it comes to hotel prices. I've stayed in both San Francisco and Manhattan for less than $200/night. Good hotels too. Downtown Nashville? You're not staying downtown without paying over $300/night.

How does it feel being so close to hot women you'll never have a chance with?

Now? Hasn’t been cool for well over a decade now?

So a city famous for country music and bars attracts bachelorette parties. Who would have thought that could happen?

it's gotten a lot more popular over the last 6+ years

a saturday night 8 years ago is similar to a week night now

Perhaps. I just know that people have been going there for years upon years now.

It’s always been Nashville, Austin and New Orleans for top bachelorette party destinations.

Its ridiculous.

If I go out downtown, I'll see 10+ bachelorette parties easily.

I was at dinner not close to downtown the other day and I saw 3 at the restaurant. On a Monday night.

Also, I've talked to plenty of these women before and usually get the same reasons:

- Fun/cool place with lots of bars and things to do
- They feel like it is safe
- Close proximity to friends that don't all live in the same city (usually Southern women on these things)

A group of single industrious guys would be smart to fake bachelor parties... you know, for the commonality and conversation starter.

So I guess more and more people are getting married these days. So much for the “studies” that say millennials aren’t getting married like previous generations.
