Also, your post has zero logic tied with it.

And we found part of the problem.

What about doctors?

Horrible. Assuming this doctor doesn't wash out and has a successful career he/she will be able to afford his/hers loans payments.

You cannot be this dumb???

None. Graduate in May, worked 2 jobs almost all of my college career; around 55 hours a week.

My kids aren't taking them out. I'm paying so they won't have to. My daughter is currently in the radiation oncology program at UC-Denver and I believe they were hovering around 9%.

ETA: But of course, Murdock believes one shouldn't incur the loans if they can't foot the $60,000 bill. He just better pray he doesn't get cancer.

What if they work in rural areas?

Cut their salary in half. Think nerd. Think harder this time.

When you drop out in 8th grade, student debt isn't a blip on the radar.

Fin you have student loans???

I'm still paying on mine. But mainly cause I was really stupid with my money in my twenties and deferred my loans a couple times. And also cause my interest rate is pretty low as well and I consolidated them years ago and locked my interest rate below 3%.

Sage advice there hoss. Got forbid some of our brightest young people seek degrees which actually matter to advance their standing in life.

Not all of us are privileged enough to have parents that were able to help with the astronomical and rising prices of getting an education. That is the real problem here.
