If your daughter's life is in anyway seriously impacted because of Bruce Jenner, it's because of your failures as a father, not ESPN.

Do any of you folks ridiculing me have young daughters? If so can you clue me in to the reasoning you are using that this isn't a point of concern for you.

you first

explain how a TV awards show that took place less than a year ago accounts for all these laws that have opened up bathrooms by choice.
Most of which happened before the awards show.

In my second post I said to focus on the last part of the question.
I was completely unaware of the transgender movement until Jenner won the award. That was my question. Did i just miss it?
Secondly I do not believe ESPN is solely responsible. But i do believe they used their platform to push an agenda that has caused me alot of concern about my daughters well being.

Whatever drug you're using must be the expensive kind.

Wow man. That's a pretty low blow. I will do my damndest to make sure these things do not affect my daughter. But i do have to be a more vigilant parent in an area of my childrens' lives that no other generation of fathers had to be.

Scares the shite out of me that if my little girls have to use a public bathroom there could be a mentally disturbed man legally lurking in the same bathroom.

These laws are horrible ideas

so the new law doesn't change the fact that if some sick frick wants to molest a child they're gonna find a way to do it

look , I'm not defending the law, its a bad unessecary law, that puts an undue burden on small businesses .

however that does not make your irrational fear rational

I'm working furiously on a plan to resurrect a frozen Walt Disney and have him rain down hell on those who have corrupted his company.

Look, I understand the shock value that this creates and understand your concerns somewhat.

Do your best to be a great dad and watch her like a hawk. It's like a 99% chance that if someone is going to harm her, it's going to be someone she knows and trust such as a coach, teacher, youth pastor, family member, etc.

Focus on raising well adjusted disciplined kid. Control what you can and quit letting the media and social media scare you about boogie men.

Ha! Meant to paste a link to an incident in Houston.

I do not have a fear of being able to keep my family safe. I just don't see the sense in giving some of the most depraved forms of human filth easier access. These kinds of incidents can be soul killing.
Thanks for playing devils advocate.

Yeah ESPN sucks. They go along with whatever is the popular opinion of the day. They seem to be having financial difficulties of late...hope they burn.
