How much money do you have to give to a politician before they owe you a favor?

Say you want a piece of legislation to go to a vote or even to pass. How much would you have to donate to a state legislator for them to do it for you? Would $10K do it? $50K $100K?

What about a US Congressman or Senator? What would it take before they would do something for you personally?

We know all these guys are for sale, but does anybody have any experience with this?

Well I heard former U.S. Congresswoman Corrine Brown could be bought with a drink known as the "Queen Corrine". But, she will tell you that is hearsay.

GTFO, campaign contributions had nothing to do with any of his rulings.

What exactly do you expect me to explain? There was nothing nefarious in regards to any of his rulings.

It's not always a cash transaction. You take them on exotic hunting and fishing trips, suite access to events, and ply them with their vices. Plenty of young skirts. Once they falter, they can no longer afford to be your enemy. You keep the party favors coming, they keep things going your way. Besides, you can't afford to buy a majority, but you can be known as a really good friend of the majority.
