He could just show up and grab a rifle off one of the dead guys laying around*

*won't actually work because everybody else is likely having to do the same thing, but sounds great!

So you support a nation invading another sovereign nation for no reason and then slaughtering civilians in the process?

outside of the ammo, everything else you can fly with, provided you communicate with the airline (domestic)

Things get murkier when trying to go overseas and I don't know if you could do that. And you'd probably have to have your final destination somewhere in Poland, which is another layer of frickery.

also, you'd want:
an e tool
a knife
basic first aid gear

it gets pricey and you had better know how to use that first aid gear because you'd likely need it considering you're a civilian going to be shelled by artillery.

something most military fanboy preppers aren't/can't do

Prolly the first thing he needs to take into consideration is learning how to speak the language.

I'd suggest being a good friend and giving him a test. Next time to talk to him just punch him in the face for no apparent reason. If he blocks it, then he might have a chance. If he doesn't, you may have a pissed off friend but you will have made your point and possibly saved his life.

United States track record on invasions. Our country thrives on it.

It has invaded 84 out of the 194 countries recognized by the United Nations and has been militarily involved with 191 of those.

Why would you want to go fight in some war that has nothing to do with you?

Gear and being fit isn’t enough. It’s a start but military training is more than fitness and getting good gear.

They break you down mentally and rebuild you to handle the stress of combat while maintaining order. It’s takes certain training to handle being shot at and being able to survive

Latest figures for my company’s training are around $75K. That’s for training, tools, and salary to get someone off the street into a position where they can perform a telecommunications job.

Of course, part of that is wages. OTOH, it’s not preparing them for a war zone. Except for those of us who work NBR.
