In Lousiana. I can't find it online. I know I can renew but was curious as to the cost.
Thanks.
Thanks.

It cost me $48. I think it depends on the original cost of the vehicle - not sure. I just have a Ford Escape, not exactly an expensive car.

Depends on your sales price of your vehicle. Also the type of plate you have. $20-$120 typically. Grab your old registration and look at where it says "lic fee"

You have no income tax right? Trade off.

We have income, property and sales taxes here! No breaks anywhere!

Just saying that states with no income tax generally have a high "other" taxes. Property, vehicle, maybe sales. Relative to Louisiana anyway.

So, when you go to actually renew your registration, it doesn't give you a price?

I literally renewed mine 15 minutes ago. $52 for the renewal, plus a fee for using the website and not going to the DMV.
Think about that. Government workers are so fricking horrendous, that I am willing to pay extra to allow the state to save money by reducing labor simply because I don't want some piece of shite public employee to completely frick my day up.
fricking leeches. First to go up against the wall.

That's super cheap compared to pretty much anywhere else. It's hilarious that you guys make such a big deal about your "brake tag inspections", I am assuming they just show your cars registration is current, when you registration is dirt cheap. Who can't afford $50 once a year?
I do agree with you that government workers are terrible but the Internet will hopefully allow us to need way less of them!

Yep. The same car used to be registered in Mississippi and it was over $200 for the registration. $50 is a bargain.

What county are you in? Harrison County's pretty sweet, in and out in ten minutes, even with a huge line.
