No, they are sit down comedians.

Commercials and print ends, then the money ends. But I'm sure these guys continue to audition and get other work. It opens lots of doors for them.

According to the google, they are both comedians. One of the guys was in second city and the other guy was a writer for Colbert. Both have been in movies and tv

Whats the deal with celebrities doing all the voice over work nowadays? Heard Ron Howard doing an OJ commercial today. Really? Directing billion $ movies not paying the bills anymore, Ron?

They would not have trouble finding work. Whether it's another commercial, or even a small tv role, they will already have a leg up on the competition

True, the sonic gays are goofy, but they must be selling a lot of products. And they have made several different commercials, each more silly than the previous ones.

Am I the only one who's noticed how many gays are employed at BR area Sonics?
Seems like every one I go to has a crew of butch lesbians.

I think it has to do with it not being a huge commitment so they can record a few lines and then it's over. I'd imagine good pay for very little work.

national commercials with a speaking role only pay about $30,000

If it's a union commercial you would generally get paid somewhere between $1000-$5000 for the day of shooting (if you are the principle actor, and these two guys are). Over the course of a year, if it's a nationally run commercial on ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, etc. you'll make $10,000-$70,000 depending on how much it is played and how long it runs. If it plays on cable only, you'll make significantly less because cable networks buy commercials in bulk.

Considering how much it's played on both cable and network and adding in radio spots, I don't think an eventual total of $100k per commercial would be too far off the mark. They seem to do 3-4 commercials per year, sooooo... they ain't starving.

I know they both played Will Ferrell's co-workers in some comedy several years ago.

I think the ads are brilliantly silly and look low budget. Corny, but I laugh every time I see a new one. Great ad campaign in my opinion.

I find Flo extremely annoying. Never liked any of those ads.

Don't know about those two, however, the doofus that does the Cox commercials I have seen doing some of the skits on Tosh.O and works the comic club circuit in SoCal.

Keep in mind that sonic likely has an exclusivity contract with them paying them a stipend to not push other products right now
