I just got my renewal and it comes out to $15 mo. Can I threaten to leave and get a better rate? That seems high
And no I don't want spotify

Yep. It's a tiresome song and dance.

I think my wife gets it by the year if I'm not mistaken. Idk how much.

0. I don't pay for something that gives me worse sound quality than terrestrial radio.

My renewal should be coming up soon and I was wondering the same.

I don't have XM either, but at least it has some choices of decent programming, unlike the shite on terrestrial radio.
But podcasts and internet radio FTW.

$4.16 a month (25 every 6 months) . I cancelled it and those bastards call me every day offering that same deal for me to come back.

I can only assume, they have figured this goofy song and dance (i.e., billing this one large fee, but allowing customers to talk them down) is their most profitable business plan, but I'd love to know if they have figured out how many customers they've lost by the sheer fact that they just got tired of it.

I didn't renew mine and after a few weeks they sent me an offer to renew for 6 months for $28
They also tried to get me to add every upgrade and a new satellite radio.

I wish they had an option for travel link and traffic only

Most of their customers probably don't even bother. It's the same deal with cable and satellite companies, though your success rate with Sirius is probably a lot higher than with DirecTV.
As for the OP, 80% of the time you can talk them down by going through the cancellation process though some people have anecdotal reports of getting a hardass, followed by a "please come back" letter in the mail.

The renewal snuck up on my and my account was auto drafted $190 :suicide:
It makes me not enjoy it as much. Last year I bargained and got it for half the price

I bought a lifetime several years back. Best investment.
