As a teacher, its sad to think how members believe our job is easy, part-time, or over-paid. If you know a teacher personally can talk to (or do research on what responsibilities of a teacher are), then I know this opinion would change. Not to mention, how LA teachers are the lowest paid in this region (by $1000s by the way)

I don't know their sales, just mine. The tips vary as well as their schedules. I presumed a pretty good night. A Monday day shift probably going to make $20+/hr. They also do not work 8 hours 5 days a week. The average amount of hours at my place is probably 27

People who say teachers are over paid are also probably the same people who have children who are a pain in the arse to teach because they don't discipline them at home and think teachers are baby sitters.

It is easy. It's not part time but you do get a ton of time off. It's not that they are over-paid but that they complain constantly about being underpaid.

Same with my daughter. Works 25-30 hrs per week has people who request her and they tip good. She averages $400-500 clear on her check per week and that’s not counting cash tips.

I didn't think walk-ons was a breastaurant. But it's been years since I've been to one.

I got a little window into exactly what teachers do all day because of Covid / online school.
Minimum wage is too much for those losers.

I am sure each location is different, but I would imagine the original walkons near campus... weekends of a home football game, those girls make some snaps.
Then you have all the other events that draw people.. basketball games, baseball & softball games, etc they can make pretty good..
But if you comparing it to a career.. If the daughter worked at walkons then had to pay for her own health insurance would it still be more than a teacher? And you are not guaranteed to make the same amount each month.
What if a teacher works at walkons during the summer? If I was a young teacher, I would do it a few years to save up

Has anybody mentioned that walk ons has shitty food and for being the “#1 sports bar in America” they consistently suck at efficiently using their TVs. Either they have every tv on one game, they still have TVs tuned to the channel from the night before so they are showing infomercials or church on Sundays, or they don’t know how to find a game.

Stop trying to sound young and cool. Aren’t you in your 30’s or 40’s?

No, this is what the girls at Walk-Ons used to look like. If you open the photo in the original post in another tab, you'll see it's from 2013, according to the URL.
No. 4 has waited on me before. She worked at the original location on Nicholson and Burbank in BR. Nice girl.
