You realize the only reason big corporations fall all over themselves to give in to this kind of silly shite is so that they can placate the mobs before they start asking for something Really radical like hiking corporate taxes or major wealth redistribution.
Believe me it’s coming and the corporate suits are going to be much less enthusiastic.

It seems like this cancel culture started with Jimmy the Greek making racial comments. A few years later it was Michael Richards, a few years later it was Imus. Now it is a couple of cancels a day.
Hopefully the cancellings are getting so saturated that the public will just start ignoring it.

The problem is that cancel culture went unchecked. The majority of things being "cancelled" today is just an absurd overreaction because people are looking for things to be "outraged" over so they can virtue signal on social media. Unfortunately, it seems no company has the balls to just say stop it so I imagine it will keep getting worse. I mean, the GOYA CEO is getting cancelled because he dared to say something positive about the president of the USA. That's it...he complimented Trump. I'm not even a fan of Trump but that is crazy to me.

Yup. I don’t particularly agree with Cathy’s stance on marriage equality or conversion camps or any of that stuff, but it never once stopped me from eating there.

How about the majority customer base tell these companies to forget about their customer dollars ?
