My lesson learned after my arrest. Deny deny deny. My virgin honesty got me in more trouble than I should have been.

I turned myself in once as a teen for fighting. Had to do community service. I hope to never get arrested as an adult but almost did last year in NOLA. They tried to accuse me of stealing. It's one of the reasons I only visit New Orleans for Saints games and to see extended family for very short periods (24-48hrs). frick those crooked cops.

1 - had a loaded pistol at the airport drop off. Who knew HPD had an on-site makeshift jail at the airport. They turned me loose though shortly thereafter with no charges. Must've sensed the beta in me.

Spent the night in a holding cell one night for trying to record the Lafayette Sheriffs beat some dude up on Jefferson. I ended up getting beaten up and arrested.

Not saying I've never done anything illegal, but I honestly don't know if I've done anything I could get arrested for (or at least in any place where I had a chance of running into a cop). I've gotten an MIP and stuff like that, but never even close to being cuffed. Never even been in a situation where I was worried about it.
I guess the closest thing would be taking Adderall when I no longer had a prescription, but I doubt a cop was kicking down our apartment door as my roommate handed me a pill that I immediately took. I was probably too big a pussy to keep one in my backpack and walk around campus for that reason (knew a guy who was arrested for something similar). From my perspective, it's very easy to go through life without getting arrested.
