0 in past year.
Only one I've ever gotten was doing 81 or 82 in a 70.

I've only received about 3 speeding tickets in 30+ years of driving, and I never drive the speed limit. Driving is a sport for me. A radar detector is the best investment I ever made. If there is a cop within a half mile of me, I know he's there - with rare exceptions.

2. 22 and 15 over.
I quit speeding outside of interstates now and I just make sure I'm not the guy going the fastest.

Last ticket I had was when I was 21. Been pulled over 6 or 7 times over the last few years but have been let go without a ticket.

Are you suggesting radar detectors don't work? It doesn't just pick up cop cars sitting roadside with a radar gun aimed at you - it picks up every cop car on the road. I don't know if they all just ride around with radar on all the time or what, but I almost NEVER see a cop car that my radar detector didn't pick up.

0 and I am never at or below the speed limit on the highway. I would argue that the people speeding and doing it often are more aware of their surroundings than others on the road. V1 helps as well.

Not to derail the thread but I got one yesterday for the first time in 10 years, now four total since I have had my license 20+ years. Never received one for going more than 10 over the limit. In fact I always set cruise 10 mph at most over speed limit traffic permitting when on interstate. Anyway was on 3127 outside of Hahnville. Deputy said I was doing 87 in a 60. Asked if he was sure because I never travel that fast and plus he could pull up my history and see I have never received a ticket for going more than 10 over. I asked if it was possible he clocked another vehicle and thought it was me? Plus mentioned that the actual speed limit on that hwy was 65 not 60. He came back with are you calling me a liar. Knew right then to just shut up and be on my way. On the ticket he wrote the speed limit was 61. If I call the Asst. DA will I be able to do anything about this?

Zero speeding tickets... ever.

The best one I got was for 120 in a 55
I don't have any problem with mildly breaking the limit, most speed limits are artificially low. But 120 in a 55 is insane. All that had to have happened was for some clueless grandma not paying attention to shift into your lane.

While I speed all the time, I don't drive like an a-hole. I don't tailgate people, don't weave in and out of traffic, and if I'm going to do 150 I'm doing it on an empty back road, not the interstate.
