Seen several.
A lady who used to live in the house I grew up in committed suicide (
) in the hallway leading to the underground garage.
We would always see an apparition go behind the corner when we walked down to get in our cars. We accepted it as it was and she wasn't an evil spirit so my family decided it wasn't a big deal.
Second one, in the Green Mosque in Istanbul. We were on a tour with my brothers and my mom and we fell behind the group for whatever reason and one area of the exhibit was closed off to the public. We started walking toward the group and all of a sudden, one of the ropes started going crazy and no one was around it. A figure of some sort slid behind the corner and we got the hell out of there

I do believe in them. my Aunt lived in a house that a while before a baby had died inside.
many times you could be in the living room and hear a baby crying from upstairs.

Do we exist in a multiverse where multiple realities coexist in the same time-space separated like different channels in the same RF spectrum? Maybe. Could those multiple universes bleed into each other on occasion? I suppose so. That seems like a much more logical explanation of seeing ghosts than spirits roaming the earth appearing selectively to people.

They are real.
I have seen one, heard several others and have an EVP from a ghost at Gettysburg on an old iPhone.
The one I saw was no mistaking what it was.
At a party (all of us were around 30 y.o.), I was facing the kitchen talking to one of the girls who lived in the house. I just happened to notice a little red-haired boy peaking around the doorway to the kitchen.
Since none of us were married or had kids, I asked who that boy was. My friend grabbed me and demanded I tell her what I saw. I told her and we went to the kitchen.
It was galley style, with the pantry to the right, a door to the garage straight ahead (still locked, chain on the door), and the kitchen to the left. Once I saw the layout, I knew it was impossible for me to have seen what I saw. The kid was peeking out from where the pantry was, and there was only a few inches of door frame for him to hide behind.
My friend then told me the story. She and two others were renting the house for next to nothing. The day they moved in, a little boy suddenly appeared out of nowhere and walked through the living room where they were taking a break from unpacking. They tried to follow him to the hallway, but he just vanished.
Turns out, a little boy drowned in the pool in the back yard a couple of years before. My friend said any time people were in the pool, they would see his ghost watching them from through the glass doors of the living room.
What I saw was not a misty form. He appeared to be a full-bodied person. Big smile on his face. Red and white striped shirt. Curly red hair. Very sad to know that he drowned in the pool.
