My current gf, who I plan on marrying when I can't put it off anymore, was a hookup that lead to a relationship.. She had a bush, so I knew right away she wasn't the type to just hook up with somebody.

I think that in general, when we knock out some strange, we go back for a few more doses...they may not all turn into full-fledged relationships, but the true one night stand is not that common, IMO...

A decent number of mine have turned into either actual relationships or regular hook ups that eventually fade out. I don't think this is really that uncommon

The two for me that turned into relationships (somewat) had been mutual friends and we all hung in the same crowd. I knew more than enough about them to know they weren't some random bar rat. But I agree with what you're saying if I had just met them.
