I work in aviation so it's easy to wake up in the morning and feel like I'm doing something I'm into. Also, not many people at my office have the passion I do for it so I feel like I stand out. Any other job I would just be another bottom feeder.

I did for a hot minute. Would've been even more dreamy if I got paid well. Am working towards getting back into the industry in a different capacity

Was forestry, and am working towards engineering between a few lumber mills. Was thinking today about how I could finagle my way into getting into the woods once I got that job

Most people who work in wildlife, forestry, DNR, parks, WLF, etc will tell you it is their dream job

Not even close, I work for AT&T so I'm pretty much hated by half the Western Hemisphere and when I'm not getting some snarky comments about the company, it's people asking me about their bill.

With that said, it provides a decent enough pay check and helping people get on the right path with their bill or saving them money does bring some happiness. It's also an extremely easy paycheck and amazing benefits. It's not my career but it'll do for a guy in his mid 20's.

My hobby is starting to pick up steam so that might end up being my full time job instead of doing IT work. It's too early to tell and I want to at least finish my degree.

Not my dream job, but I do love my job. I honestly don't know what my dream job would even be.

Hate mine. (or perhaps dislike is better). But like a lot of people I fell into this career and the longer you're in the harder it is to get out. I couldn't make the same money elsewhere and have too many kids and obligations to take a leap.

You mean besides talk bullshite on the internet? We're only a couple pages in and already we have a few guys that are retired in their late 40's.

Retired in 40's is probably .000001 of the population and 3 out of 20 posters in this thread are in that category.
