Everything has a logical place and sequence

No, it’s not appropriate what does raising community awareness and social injustice have to do with a sporting event?
Wanna raise awareness then go to the site and help.
Your more then free to protest but it’s not logical to do so at an event that’s not related to what you are protesting.
I don’t get it. Then again I look at everything from a science and logic perspective.
Besides the real issue is the black on black crime which is insanely high and it’s in the areas where these injustices occur. How come that never gets addressed!?

The logic is simple: they want to raise awareness, so they want as many eyes as possible. You don't have to protest solely at the site where an injustice occurred, especially when that kind of injustice occurs across the nation. What a narrow way to protest, severely limiting yourself and your reach. Can you name another event that will grab so much attention?

Well, if you want to watch some football this year, it is going to happen...and I want to watch some football.

You got to be incredibly self centered to think the flag represents you individually. Christ.
Pretty clear he thinks the flag to him stands for his service and others that served
Those kneeling think the flag stands for their oppression and others oppression that share their skin color
But you only call him, the man who served, selfish. Checks out

I'm done with professional sports. And if college boys start acting up, done with them too.

You put your life on the line and these Ungrateful millionaires decide to take a knee when the national anthem is played is disrespectful to those that served and died for this country. As you said if this is personal to these black athletes than do it elsewhere not while the anthem is played

I’m curious about the ages of the people that have a problem with it, and those that don’t.

Look, the flag can stand for whatever an individual wants it to stand for. It’s an inanaimate object. But the kneelers need to understand a lot of people think it stands for something that should be respected.
So, by kneeling they will continue to upset those people. For me, personally, if I had a message that was imporant to me that I wanted everyone to listen to, I wouldn’t do it in a way that immediately alienates a larges percentage of people.
But to each their own
