I do take pleasure in cooking and eating a well executed steak. I did it last night in fact.

eat, drink and be merry. everything beneath the sun is meaningless. It’s in the Bible, dipshit! I’ll take King Solomon’s advice over yours.

I find eating to be one of life’s top pleasures after some of the most obvious. I eat to survive however, making what I eat a tasty experience is what I strive for. I do eat some bland things regularly but do look forward to those meals that hit just right, like rare steak, perfectly cooked shrimp and fish, awesome fried/baked chicken, and many air fried dishes of vegetables. And, strawberries at their peak of deliciousness cannot be overstated as a delight to the palate. So much out there.
Oh, and I am not a fatty at 6’1”, 202, but do have bout a10 pounds of cushion…. Have a great Memorial Day. A neighbor prepared the bestest ribs for today. Mmmmhmmmmmm!

I do enjoy food but it can be a hassle

Rather die fat and happy than skinny, uptight and judgey.

I agree.
The fetish some people have with food is unreal. The most exciting thing in their week is going to some hipster restaurant and telling their peers about it
Probably the same people that consider their occupation as their identity.

Most fat people aren’t happy though.

One time someone asked me why I eat a certain food. My answer: Because I like it. Pretty simple.

Food is food. I damn sure don’t waste time worrying about it.
It’s always amazing to me how much people discuss. Going on a work trip, and people spending time worrying about and talking about where and what to eat for every meal. They’re all fat.
I’m perfectly fine stopping at a gas station, getting a protein bar/shake then going about my day.

God would not have made it enjoyable if we weren't meant to enjoy it. You can enjoy it without resorting to gluttony.
Enjoy your crossfit class, homo.

Guess you've never heard the old saying, "Fat, Dumb and Happy"?

Sounds like a guy with a fat wife.

And here's a clue to the OP. Sometimes I eat for pleasure.
Sometimes I eat for utility.
Sometimes I eat for necessity.
Sometimes I eat as a combination of any or all of these.
The reason for eating isn't a binary activity. Try to make it so is an overly simplistic view of the world.

I agree. I despise the saying fat and happy.
Fat people need therapy and exercise. When I see an obese person, I assume they’re miserable. It would suck being out of breathe just walking through the grocery store.
