I inject tren into each leg before squats.

Also, calves are a bitch to grow...you can’t determine a man’s squat by his calves alone.
Ok, Drama

Herniated L4-5 squatting. Had nerve root impingement but resolved to about 80% without surgery. I’ve skipped leg day for three years but a lot of it is probably mental. I do do calves.

Try split squats.

Thanks for the tip. Did some googling to check out proper form and this looks pretty promising. Seems like something you can do at home at least until you get the proper form down and then add some dumbbells. Not too much stress on the spine.

How many of you gym rats skip working on your yard, maintaining your house, maintaining your vehicles, and giving your wife the big OOooooooooooo?

Don’t workout at all anymore. That is for the 18-30 crowd with nothing else to do except try to validate themselves in this competitive world.
I am 50, already married the beautiful wife at 28. Have 4 kids ages 21-10 who are high achievers due in part to very engaged parenting, earn a good enough living to do the things my wife and I want to do and when we want to do it. Height of 6 feet and 196 lbs. Not ripped anymore, but not fat either. Don’t have time to chase my perfect body anymore. There are much more important things to enjoy with my family.
But for you young bucks, I understand the mentality. I was there in my 20s and 30s. It fades unless you are a loser in your 40s or 50s and it is all that you have to make you feel some sort of achievement.

I ran a program when I was working on squats that was one day heavy one day moderate and one day during the week I worked in deadlifts.
Also if you ran a program called tatical Fitness......squats everyday you lift....
After all that. I still suck at squats. But I've learned to love them!!!

Doesn’t necessarily mean they skip leg day.
Mostly genetic. I’ve seen dudes squat 500lbs with twig legs

I’ll do machines for legs. Squatting and deadlifts etc destroy your body and you will regret it later in life.

You know what looks silly? Grown men not working construction carrying around gallons of water.
