My grandfather died at age 98, last year.

My grandmother is still kicking it at 94.

Other grandmother died 10 years ago at 86 or so. Smoked for 50 years too.

I have one grandmother left, and I hope like hell that she outlives me, cuz that day is gonna suck when she doesn't.

i lost my grandfather last spring. more of a father to me than my father was. It was expected b.c well 98 years old.

I still think about him weekly and get all misty, and it was about a year ago.

Both of my grandmothers died in the last 4 years. One was 97 and I was 40 when she passed. The other was 95 and I was 43.

My maternal grandfather died when I was 5. My paternal grandfather died when my dad was 12 in 1954.

I'm 29 and have three living grandparents. Both maternal grandparents (82 and 78) and my paternal grandmother (84) are alive, and I actually had all four grandparents until my paternal grandfather died when I was a junior in high school. I was and am very lucky.

Also, I had four living great-grandparents until I was about 7.
