And what the hell helps It? Ive had it for the 1st time for about 3 or 4 weeks now and it's miserable. Wakes me up when I roll over on that side etc. Ive been icing or every night with little/no improvement

Do I need to set up a orthopedist visit. Does cortisone work?

What is this from? Only had severe pain in my elbow in high school from pitching. Probably from throwing curveballs in little league. I would think rest and anti inflammatories would work.

I deal with it on a constant basis. Go see a physical therapist and they will massage your arm and work it out. They will give you some stretches to do as well. Get a brace that puts constant pressure on the tight areas.

It sucks and painfull as hell.

My son did ... broke his wrist and ended up having to have surgery. After a year or so he started with tennis elbow (ortho said he was the only person he'd seen with it who actually played tennis) .. sent him to OT as his ligaments and tendons were super tight from the surgery. Did therapy for a short while and then continued in his own.

A brace was the only thing that helped me a while back.

As goofy as the braces and compression sleeves look, they help. For me, the compression sleeve was very effective.

A handshake was the most painful. Takes a while for it to go away

I picked up one of the $30 joints at Dick's about two weeks ago. I couldn't tell the difference

Just came off a solid year of dealing with it. The brace didn't help me. Cortisone would help for a few weeks only. Eventually, it stopped hurting. Probably because I stopped throwing 200 BP pitches twice a week.

Yeah. thats a fact. Really anything that requires gripping makes you think tendons are ripping in your elbow and forearm

Didn’t have tennis elbow but the opposite golfers elbow or little league elbow. It would come and go. Had cortisone shots 3 times and they were effective for a few weeks. Tried PT too. Only thing that worked was time and not playing golf or throwing.

I lifted weights and worked around it and eventually it went away. Ive had golfers and tennis in both arms at different times. Physical therapy can help, but I haven't found found much else that does. Also, I eat alot of salmon now, and the Omega3's are supposed to be anti-inflammatory. Perhaps thats just anecdotal
