I bought the Sham-wow from walmart. It was crap, but it made a decent shop rag.

Couldn't tell you, but if I had to guess, I'd say it is probably on par with about any other sealant on the market.
I guess if I need to put a screen door on the bottom of my boat, I'll probably give it a look see.

Never bought any products from TV though my dad got those Time Life book series back in the 1980s.

I have never bought anything off of TV, but I did buy Flex Seal from Home Depot. It worked pretty much as advertised with the caveat that it doesn't really last to long under any sort of stress. I've bought a few other things from the As-Seen-On-TV rack from Walmart, but I don't really even remember what those items were.
Also, I was given a conductive burner once. I'm not sure if it was the one from TV, but that thing was legit.
