A million and a half is pocket change, right?

If I were going to do this I would build it in Montana and make it a dual use vacation home.

Everybody around there knows where to go when the SHTF. They'll take whatever they want unless you have your own private security force, and there's no guarantee your security won't turn on you too.

If you were in Montana you wouldn't need it.

If there were an event where folks were roaming looking for food and resources I would want something that was easily defendable, even in Montana. This type of bunker accomplishes that.

I would only want family and close friends because with me like someone said, could you trust people you did not really know in that situation.

I lost my bugout shelter in a tragic boating accident.

I always thought about the Northwest as a bugout area int he event of a nucleur world war, but then, I went down several “prepper” rabbit trails. The consensus at the time seemed to be that the NW is a terrible area b/c we have most of our nucleur silos there. The reason they are there is b/c the Govt wants them located in sparsely populated areas knowing that the enemy will try and take out our silos first. Several of the sites seemed to think The Ozarks would be the best prepper area, but you would have to contend with the Snells.

Those wolfe ranges look nice, so do those high end refrigerators. What happens when the natural gas lines are cut or an EMP knocks out all electronics? Those TVs and everything else becomes useless.

These are actually old nuclear missile silos. They've been around for 10+ years.

The CSA has been quiet since we put a needle in Snell’s arm.

I have a couple hundred acres in the Ozarks. Good people around there.

My best friend has property on the Michigan upper peninsula only reachable by water. It would be ideal.

Haven’t you seen the zombie movies? They’ll just walk on the lake bed and emerge out of the water to eat your face.

I heard they like warmer climates.

Common misconception. They like warm bodies. They’re just cold okay? Cuddle the zombie. It just feels misunderstood.

For security from 'bad guys' we live where everybody is armed.

One of the larger homes had it's burglar alarm go off one mid morning. Five armed neighbors showed up. Sheriff showed up half an hour later. (It was a short in his system, BIG house).

Which town are you close to? I’ve got land out of St Joe by the Buffalo river.

We canoed the Buffalo in November once. Not the smartest move when we overturned at one point.

I believe that Montana has some missile silos there so it would definitely be somewhere a foreign power would target
