Unless you are doing a nice one that hits awesome places, I would not do a honeymoon on one.

Once. Hated it, will never cruise again. I’ve spent long periods of happiness on small boats fishing, but was uncomfortable the entire time on that cruise. Rough seas, tiny room, crowded. It was a spontaneous vacay and would have been a miserable honeymoon. I hated having to wait to experience anything off the ship. We didn’t like the pressure to be back in time and long lines to reboard.

If you’re trying to save money or enjoy an “all-inclusive” option go for a resort on land. At least you can venture out of the resort on your own and your week isn’t ruined by rough seas. We were poor when we married and had a blast at the cheapest Sandals in Jamaica. I’d rather honeymoon in Gulf Shores than cruise.

I have not. I'm not a big drinker or a fan of buffets so not sure what I would do. Would rather spend the money exploring a unique destination and actually learning something about other cultures.

To each their own tho.

Check out Mediterranean cruises, avoid the US especially anything going out of FL or LA. You’re welcome
