Funny you should say that. This morning on my way to work I passed a guy in a truck with a pair of lace up work boots strung over his trailer hitch. I assumed he had forgotten them there. But it did make me wonder if he was making some sort of statement other than “I’m a doofus who can’t keep up with his boots.”

I ain’t never had a truck I was worried about rubbing the paint off of. I’ll hang a pair in there but they do dry rot them. I usually just keep mine there in the winter and spring when it’s more rainy.
