I've never heard of this place. Has it been there a while?

5 years after the doors closed following the death of its owner, long-time customer Katie Guidy took over the reins for her favorite dive bar. Guidry says she wants to bring the close-knit community back to the 'Boose' where everyone was welcome and no one felt left out.
Along with re-opening the bar, Katie's friend is making a documentary about the dive bar's history, with a showing set for outside of the bar.

In it's heydays, the strip was a machine of fun and debauchery.
