I've never heard of this place. Has it been there a while?

Thinking about getting my squatted F350 washed soon

quote:

5 years after the doors closed following the death of its owner, long-time customer Katie Guidy took over the reins for her favorite dive bar. Guidry says she wants to bring the close-knit community back to the 'Boose' where everyone was welcome and no one felt left out.

Along with re-opening the bar, Katie's friend is making a documentary about the dive bar's history, with a showing set for outside of the bar.

ETA: it may have been called the Red Dog Saloon back then?

I snuck in the back door to go to my brother’s bachelor party. I was 16.
1980’s when the strip was wild!

We would go to The Pub, The Keg, and Shanahan’s.

Never ventured into Night Caps or The Loose Caboose.

In it's heydays, the strip was a machine of fun and debauchery.

That photo of a bartender will ensure no normal people venture into this place.
