5-6 nights, 1-2 beers
Usually have 1-2 beers during the day Saturday and that's about it

A glass of scotch a day keeps the doctor away

If I have one I'll have 15

I'm 24. In college I was drinking to blackout level 3 nights/week minimum... Sometimes 5 times/week.
After a year of having a job and a 40+ HR/week work week, I'm drinking only on the weekend, and half the time I don't have the energy to go Friday and Saturday night. I can't even imagine the hell of waking up hungover early on a weekday and going to work.
Im not sure how much of my exhaustion has to do with getting older and my hangovers getting worse vs. just being tired from work and lack of sleep.

I'll usually have a double bourbon & Coke most nights.

Make it a more interesting thread by changing the title to how many days a week do you drink.

Almost never. One beer gives me a headache.

I drink the equivalent to probably 4 beers on Tuesday and Friday night usually. Then maybe 6 - 8 on Saturday night.

The real question is how many mornings a week do you drink. That answer would be much more predictive of alcoholism.
Note: Saturdays in the Fall with an 11:00 am or 2:30 pm start don't count against you.

As in going to bed late mornings or drinking when you wake up?
I almost typed waking when you drink up. Yes I am drinking.

Mostly a social drinker now. So I'll have 1-2 drinks with a meal or at happy hour or brunch. That maybe happens once a week, sometimes more often depending on what is going on.

This, except for me it was from about 18 all the way up until 26.
Then I realized I was doing nothing with my life and finally made a change.
Now if I ever go overboard, which is very rare, I don't recover for about 48 hours.

two nights a week, sometimes three is not an alcoholic. Now, if you are consuming a six pack each time, or four or more mixed drinks, it is a concern.
Stephen King, in his book, "Writing: An Approach to the Craft," said that when he was a high school English teacher before he made it as a writer he took the garbage out one night and realized that he had two bins full of empty aluminum beer cans.
He stepped back and wondered, "Am I an alcoholic?" because he was the only person in the house drinking.
King, upon striking it rich in the publishing world, switched to cocaine, and that's where his real problems started...and ended with a family and close friend intervention. They found all his drugs and drug paraphernalia and put it on the table in the living room. They said, "It's us or the drugs, Stephen."
King is interesting. He also recounts being run over by a drunken derelict in a van while he was walking, rendering his body badly broken. He then sued the drunk for everything he had and the guy died broke.
So two or three nights a week I think is okay. It's all about consumption totals. Life is meant to be enjoyed responsibly.
Cheers!

If you drink 12 beers in a two day span it is a concern?

Most of them.
Just not all of them, that would be a problem.
