Probably realized they were living among poors with no financial common sense who think paying cash for a vehicle gives them bargaining power. Or they are moving for a job, had family with health problems, expecting a kid and wanting to upsize, or a million other reasons that people move. The house I was in before the one I’m in now was in a neighborhood and we built it knowing we wanted more land in a few years so we bought land and were almost done building the new house when we put the other up for sale.
I consider the source and realize this is probably a troll but damn you are one insecure bitch

Was on my run and saw the house down the street just went up for sale. I live in a nice neighborhood, 1-2 acre lots, mostly people doing well in their careers, etc. Couple has only been in the house for 2 years. Divorce? Living above their means? Hard to say. The wife drove home a brand new Suburban/Tahoe just two months ago.
They could also just be fricking moving, you moron.

If Babytictac lives next to them I definitely see why they put it up for sale

Quite a few since taxes are by far our biggest expense.

People move all the time for work. Hell I’ve moved all over the country the last 22 years. Longest I’ve been in a place is 7 years.

6 months. Then I would have to do something different. Also, I’ve moved 5 times. Some downsize, some upsize. This last time was to a better city and I sold my house double what I paid for it.
One time we downsized because my wife wanted to SAHM but still spent like we had two incomes. Her arse is back to work. She decided not worrying about money and getting to travel is better than clipping coupons

To be completely honest if my wife and I were to each miss one paycheck, massive adjustments would have to be made. I don't suspect anyone would be any different. That would be 4% of our total income, and for us, I'm sure our commissions and bonuses would be greatly impacted. We do have those impacts though, as we take vacations and time off, those do impact our pay as well, but we plan for those.

I have probably 30 paychecks in savings and CDs, so we'd be fine for a little while. Locking in the mortgage at 2.45 was massive. Allowed us to attack debt and focus on returns.

Promotion with relocation, moving to be closer to parents who now need assistance, new Job in a new place, moving to a nicer neighborhood without a nosy idiot neighbor who pretends to be on a run so he can snoop. So many possibilities.
And it sounds like you are projecting a bit.

There's a lot of reason to assume people are living paycheck to paycheck, but this wouldn't set of my alarms.
I bought a house from a young couple who had only been in it 2 years. In fact, my wife and I walked through it when it was listed before they bought it. Surprisingly to us, the house went on the market sooner than we expected. The seller was at a convention and offered a job that was too good to refuse. They paid his moving expenses and listed the house for him.
Good for us and good for him.
