Better question would be how many times have you driven after drinking more than you should have.

I was 19
Was driving 32 in a 25 on campus after 5 beers.
Bought a 6 pack had one left.

Dude pulled me over in the dorm parking lot.

My karma for the other 100 times I drove shitfaced.

Convicted of 1 but arrested for 3. Quit drinking 6 years ago after a put my car in the ditch and ended up in ICU for a few days.

How was he a dick? He was probably trying to make his point and make you realize how bad you fricked up while at the same time cutting you some slack.

0, but for those who know about this more than I do, how do people, with 4 and 5 DUIs able to get back on the road in a reasonable amount of time?

I wouldn't say I could have qualified for hundreds, but there have been a number of times when I shouldn't have been behind the wheel. The last time I drink and drive, I had no memory of driving home, I threw up in my van, didn't get home until close to 3:30AM, had to wake up at 6AM to go into work (it was a Friday so it was a half day) and then had a doctors appointment.

When I woke up I was still drunk. Not many people are in the office on Friday, but some student worker decided to bring her boyfriend to work and she came introduce him to me and I think I just stared at him. Ever since that she never talked to me again..

But yeah, after that I stopped drinking anytime I think I would be behind the wheel.

One. Incredibly stupid but it scared me straight. I don’t mess around with even buzzed driving anymore.

Lightly rear ended some lady. Tried to convince her to not call the cops. She wasn’t having it, cops come, and guess who else gets a DUI?

Yep, she did too. Thanks lady. You called the cops on yourself basically.

Sweet. Does this count? I’ve called 911 about 3 times on people who were all over the place. Does that give me 3 passes?

OP answer is zero.

Definitely. After a long and particularly rough night, I was pulled over at 10:00 the next morning and blew a .012. Off to jail at 10:30 in the damn morning.

I've posted on here about my struggles with alcohol in the past. I'm glad that you went a different direction and turned it around. I'm convinced that my daughter saved my life in that regard. I'm a fellow Central baw too

Thanks man, it was definitely a struggle but it’s been worth it. 22 months sober in the 18th of this month.
