Never as a kid, like normal, now pretty much all day with a pick flosser. So much now they are in pockets of washer clothes.

Every day, often twice.
Test that will make most people start flossing: smell the floss afterwards. Even if you’ve already brushed.
Nasty.

We can lie about flossing on a message board, but you can't effectively lie to the dental hygienist. She knows if you are lying about how often you floss. She may smile and nod when you say you floss every day, but dude, she knows. You can't fool the dental hygienist.

7 days a week, sometimes more. Otherwise, my nazi dentist will get angry.

Every damn day… And brush my teeth twice a day.
Posted on 9/17/25 at 4:41 pm to Artificial Ignorance
8 days per week

Everyday now for years. Ideally after every meal if I have a chance.
It’s actually pretty addictive once you start doing it regularly and daily. I guess that's a good and healthy addiction to acquire.

I’ll bite.
Is flossing with pick flossers not as good as the spools?

Wait, how do you get food stuck around your tooth? My English isn’t the best, but one of the two things seered in my mind from elementary school is that “teeth” is the plural of “tooth.”
Are y'all saying that as adults you have more than one tooth for food to get stuck between ?!?
…witchcraft I tell you…

You realize the food you eat get stuck in your teeth? And your toothbrush doesn't get every spot.. When you leave food out for too long it starts to smell. You might want to get those numbers to around once or twice a day,

And your digestive system. May the little voice in you who gets freaked out over food getting stuck in your teeth reconcile the bolus / chyme inside you all the time.

7x2/day and less would be trashy

Uhhh, pretty sure we are all supposed to do this every day, like brushing and showering. Never thought of it as an optional or occasional thing...

We are not supposed to drink, have unprotected sex, or rip mattress tag off.
Never thought of these as mandatory or all the time things…
Live a little.

YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE TO FLOSS ALL YOUR TEETH JUST THE ONES YOU WANT TO KEEP

Failing to perform basic hygienic practices is not living a little to me, but you do you. Nasty.
