How long will Hospitals continue to practice bad medicine?

Went to visit a relative in the hospital last night. Couldn’t tell you how many employees I saw walk out of the restroom with a mask on. One simple flush and their mask is filled with bacteria.
I’m sure all of the LPN’s are a perfect 100% on hand hygiene. Just countless opportunities with one touch of the mask then to transfer it over to a patients line while they are taking care of someone. Easy way for Aunt Sue to get a E Coli infection and add another week to her stay

Imagine before. Nurses and medical assistants were attending sick people and sick themselves with no mask. At MD Anderson, it was never an issue because they took disease spread very seriously, but at the local hospitals in BR it was a nightmare.

To answer your question... As long as we are told by our employer that we have to wear a mask.

You're right. Masks are petri dishes and carry more dangerous bacteria than the coronavirus. Why are we wearing them?

Yeah, really. It baffles me when I don't see them walk out of the restroom naked directly into a decontamination shower. One touch of anywhere on their body or one piece of clothing. I've even seen them cross their arms or put their hands on their hips, OMG.

I was a nurse for 35 years,31 full time in hospital.I could tell horror stories for hours about the nasty shite I saw employees do.It ran the gamut from housekeepers,nursing assistants,nurses,doctors.Some nurses and doctors were meticulous about infection control but some were disgusting.It seemed that some of them never heard of germs or didn’t believe in them because they couldn’t see them.

If it gets all over their mask does it get all over their clothes? Should everyone change clothes after using the bathroom?
Also, your phone has more bacteria on it than a toilet seat and we know our nurses love them tik toks. So I wouldn’t lose any sleep over a mask
