Didn’t canes back in the 90s have more crisp to the strips and almost a powdery residue on the breaded crust? Now they are moist and soggy.

Bailey’s was in the old Rally’s drive thru that used to be where the cvs is now. Old professor I know from LSU had Graves , and the Bailey’s owner in his class.
Not sure if it’s 100% truth or not, but they had a falling out. Graves opened up the original Canes on the north gates, and Bailey opened up at Lee, and highland.
Not long there after Graves opened up the location in the Winn Dixie shopping center to try and put Baileys out of business. It didn’t work so he sued him.
