We had a blast.
We obviously got there super early so I watched alot of the large screens while they walked around trading bracelets. I didnt realize she directed so many of her music videos and the concert reminded me alot of a music video. She knew where to look at every turn for every lyric.
The good news is everyone gets the same caliber show just about. The bad news, everyone gets basically the same show. But the audio was FABULOUS which surprised me. Our section was right by the merch stand, the mens bathroom, the women's bathroom and concessions so it was super convenient. My daughter has a stress fracture and is on crutches and they even offered the elevator for us which was a big help. The one thing that blew me away wasn't even concert related honestly...the people working the event were the nicest, friendliest and most helpful I have ever experienced at the superdome. From the security personel at Champions square to ever concession stand, it was very well run.
But the show itself was an absolute blast. BUT, someone should have given me a heads up I was going to hear my 14 year old drop 3 F bombs in a row during Down Bad.

oh ffs RTDouche, is that the best you've got?
you've clearly demonstrated your unhealthy obsession with the things other ppl are passionate about that do not affect you in the slightest and you've managed to out yourself as a very small minded man who must resort to attacking any female who dares to stand up to you with political insults and broad generalizations.
you suck as a human dude.

I didn't even venture downtown this weekend, but the general vibe around the city was so nice this weekend (as many others have said). It was like the city/country we all claim to want to live in.
I just can't imagine actually seeing this and being so mad about it.

I get it. I was into KISS at 14 and 15.
I liked one of Rick Springfield songs when I was in HS.
Kids love sugary music.

John Prine at Folk Fest.
Those are the last two I've been to in 30 years.
But your precious rap...

It turns out that the answer to this question is, "Not nearly as long as this thread."

My daughter cried so much on Friday and then watched alot of the videos I took of them and just laughed at herself.
Right before Tayor came out, my daughter turned to us and said "this is even better than the movie"
This was my shirt I made for me. Sice Rog is a swiftie and knows all the lyrics, I'm sure he'll be able to explain it.

You have been to 2 concerts in 30 years and have such big opinions on music that require you to post in all the threads?

Yes. You either have good taste or not.

quote:Correct. And she doesn’t put her politics in her show at all. Nothing is mentioned
TS is allowed to have her own political opinions and she has earned the right to voice them on her own platform
Meanwhile, go to pretty much any country concert and they will absolutely bring politics into it at some point. Yet, that seems to be cheered……Weird
