Lot of variables there, most importantly your status, your superiors and the workplace "culture". Could be a month, six months or never. Often it can coincide with your first big "win" or show of "going the extra mile" if that is applicable.

2 months to get your bearings...learn where to park...bathrooms....timesheets..what sites are blocked etc...

Next 8 or 12 months to get comfortable. Learn people's names....happy hours....interview coworkers

Next year is about learning the job...trying some stuff out and asking for feedback....go at your own pace

Ask them to use more lube and go slower, that should help a bit. Also, no BBC for the first 3 months.

Still sweating that promotion?

FWIW, it took me about 7-8 months to become semi-comfortable, which is the best that could be hoped for. The day you become truly comfortable is the day you cease learning, busting arse, and progressing in your job/career.

I'm getting into a groove after a little more than a month working at a psychiatric hospital.
