A Walmart parking lot is about as high class as you get in HOUMA.

The waitresses can’t afford babysitters.

I worked at the one on Vets in Metairie when it first opened and later the one on College in BR when I went to LSU.

When the original six guys from Florida sold shop to an investment group (within the last 10 years) the look and feel changed for the worse.

Although they were a mix of company and franchised stores, some of the original six used to go to each new store opening to check out the places' vibes.

Four of them came to the Metairie store. They rolled up in an old shitbox beater car, dressed like what they were - four beach bums from Clearwater enjoying each other's company on a road trip to New Orleans. They stayed for a couple of days and just sort of hung out, went out back behind the dumpster and got stoned, drank some beer and gave the place their blessing.

I must imagine that level of authenticity is hard for the new corporate owners to fake.

See, I’d have thought the chicks at the breastaraunts would make more money. I don’t really notice that many hot girls waiting tables. Although I was waited on by a young coed at The Chimes who had one of the hottest bodies I’ve ever seen in person. She was incredible.

So I’d have thought the really hot chicks would be at Hooters or TP cause the money is better. Guess not.

What? This has always been the case. Remember Sammy’s on Highland Rd? I haven’t been in years, but they always had pretty girls working there.

That’s true, Paul.

I just feel like I remember Hooters having some really pretty girls at one point. But with so many non trashy places catching on to the all female staff, there’s not a real reason for an attractive young woman to bother with Hooters.
